Dynamite Design Lab was established shortly after receiving a Choubox Automatic Litter Box from a crowdsourcing campaign site. The box had several issues and manufacturing defects, and one of the issues was the ability for cats to kick out litter from the box due to the low opening. With my technical design background and skills, I decided to create a custom design for a litter guard for the Choubox, print it out on my 3D printer, and test it out for myself. Everyone was impressed with my design and how well it worked and mentioned I should sell them for others to have. I posted it in one of the support groups on Facebook for others to purchase and things took off from there! We then evolved from just making litter guards to fine and coarse mesh screens to filter out the smaller clumps that were getting behind the grate, and then as more people found issues with the box I designed solutions for them.

Shortly after that I began to get requests to make guards and other modifications / accessories for other automatic litter box brands and now we offer litter guards, mesh screens, and other items for multiple brands of automatic litter boxes such as Meowant, Petkit, PetSnowy, Neakasa, and more! We also still get requests for other boxes too!

We also developed a sink restraint for kids and pets that help prevent unnecessary accidents and flooding of rooms for those who love to play with water!
